Duchesse

I was inspired by 16th century Flemish and Tudor portraits. I was experimenting a little with a collage-like technique;
piecing together this-and-that to create the clothing. There was a specific painting I was emulating, but I can't find it anymore.

I didn't realize it had been so long since I'd made anything. I'd almost forgotten what I was doing
It's summertime in Chicago, so I'm not home much.
